sWitches

sWitches was formed by Pamela Varela, Ines DeRu and Ella Hebendanz, who describe themselves as an interdisciplinary, cyberfeminist, and artivist constellation taking the witch as a symbol for the rebellious feminist. They make their way into the patriarchal technological field to express a more diverse(ifying) view on technology and create sensorial experiences that extend and enhance human connection. At Monument Festival 2024, Pamela Varela and Ella Hebendanz are inviting the audience to participate in "Ωma", an initiation ritual intertwining poetry, dance and electric impulses to create and influence a communal sonic landscape.
