Memory Play

Josef Kašpar (aka Memory Play) is a meditation teacher and techno producer from the UK. After offering a series of informal classes at last year’s festival, MONUMENT has invited Josef back to host two sessions at EIR this year, joined by ambient sound artist Slow Moon.

Despite their young age, Josef brings over twelve years of meditation experience. They credit this practice with helping them overcome a series of mental health challenges in their twenties, an experience that sparked a renewed love and appreciation for life.

Their classes draw inspiration from the teachings of Tara Brach and Rob Burbea, often incorporating simple, practical techniques for befriending the inner critic, deepening gratitude, and moving toward a more loving appreciation of this wild and often overwhelming life we’ve been gifted.
