Ashkan ONP  (NOR)

Ashkan was born in 1991 in Iran and since 2012 has lived in Norway. He started making music in 2014 by forming an electro-acoustic music concept in his studio.

He plays a variety of oriental instruments and those are included on his compositions, hypnotic and deep techno / Electronic and live performance with a touch of percussion and mystical rhythms. Ashkan is the founder of One New Planet and part of Eternis Limited.

This year at MNMT festival Ashkan ONP will perform together with Sanne Rambags in a unique collaboration, blending improvised acoustic soundscapes with deep, meditative energy. Ashkan, a multi-instrumentalist, and Sanne, a genre-transcending vocalist, come together for a performance rooted in raw expression and musical exploration.

They will craft a one-of-a-kind experience using handpan, daff, voice, and shamanic instruments, creating a deep and immersive journey through sound.
